How to Register

Only those who received an ELIGIBILITY LETTER are able to register for Co-Op Summer.

Registration Dates: 
March 4, 2020 from 7:30am - noon and 2pm - 7pm

• Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis
• Minimum $50 deposit due

April 1, 20120  from 8am - 10am or 2pm - 4pm

• Payment installment #2 due
• Registration open for any available spots

April 29, 2020 from 8am - 10am or 2pm - 4pm

• Final payment due
• Last chance to register for any available spots

Parents must come in-person to register at Mamaroneck Avenue School at 850 Mamaroneck Avenue, Mamaroneck, NY. Enter at the rear of the building.

First registration must be in person.  We typically fill all spots on the first registration date.  Additional final payments may be sent via check made out to:

Or drop your cash or check in the Mamaroneck Avenue School (MAS) PTA Lock Box at the MAS Main Office.  Be certain to include the adult's name and the child's name.

2020 Tuition Rates

Elementary Co-Op Summer Enrichment
Tuition for 5 week program is set on a sliding scale as follows:

• Free lunch families pay $235 per student
• Reduced lunch families pay $370 per student
• Nominated families pay $1,100 per student

Middle School Co-Op Summer Enrichment
Tuition for 2 week program is set on a sliding scale as follows:

• Free lunch families pay $95 per student
• Reduced lunch families pay $160 per student
• Nominated families pay $800 per student

Leadership-in-Training Program
Tuition for 4-week program is set on a sliding scale as follows:

• Free lunch families pay $200 per student
• Reduced lunch families pay $350 per student
• Nominated families pay $900 per student

Note: A $50 deposit is due at the time of registration for all programs. The remaining fees can be paid in two installments.

All of these rates are subsidized through the support of significant District funding, tri-municipality support and private fundraising.  The actual approximate cost per student is $1,650 for six weeks of programming and $780 for two weeks of programming.

Program Eligibility

Students will be invited to attend Co-Op Summer Enrichment based upon the following criteria:

REGISTRATION GROUP A: Any Mamaroneck School District student who receives free or reduced lunch.

REGISTRATION GROUP B: Any Mamaroneck School District student who is nominated to attend Co-Op Summer Enrichment by a school-based professional who feels the student has direct academic, social or emotional needs that are best served by participating in a school-based summer enrichment program

Families will register their children on a first come/first served basis with no more than 25 spots available for Registration Group B enrollment.  The elementary program will serve at least 230 students.

Registration Group B Nominating Process

Any school-based professional can nominate a student whom they feel would receive specific social, emotional or academic benefits from being in a school-based summer enrichment program.  To do this, the professional must:

1. Complete a nomination form no later than January 23, 2020
   ​PLEASE NOTE: The nomination form requires that you have discussed the proposed student’s nomination with another school-based professional who knows the student (e.g. building principal, assistant principal, social worker or school psychologist)
2. Once nominations have been received, the STEM Alliance will send the list of nominations from each school to the school’s leaders for review.  Any changes (additions or deletions to that list) must be received by the STEM Alliance by January 29, 2020.
